The contest is here!

Being the good neighbourly tech startups that we are, one day in midtown Manhattan we here from Peek and Xtify thought "we should talk."

Well lo and behold we found out that same week that we'd both be presenting at the famed New York Tech Meetup.

Given the combination of Xtify's APIs which make it easy to develop location-based apps... plus the coolness of the Peek... we thought that it was perfect timing to put together this little competition!

So here it is. We want people to build an interesting web-based application that uses location data and email. Whoever builds the coolest application that best and most interestingly integrates both location information from Xtify and email on the Peek will win fame and fortune - as judged by our celebrity panel:

  • Nate Westheimer the host of the New York Tech Meetup
  • Joshua Topolsky editor of Engadget
  • Amol Sarva the Chief Peekster
  • and Andrew Weinreich the CEO of Xtify

The Prize

Imagine the opportunity to develop something, present it in front of all of your peers, have thousands of people hear about it, plus win money and cool prizes.
